Wallet Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: October 1, 2025

These Terms & Conditions (“Wallet Terms”) govern your use of an eligible Zed Card with a digital wallet (“Wallet”). Please read them carefully and retain a copy for your records. By adding, activating, or using your Zed Card with a Wallet, you agree to these Wallet Terms, which supplement the Zed Cardholder Agreement, User Agreement, and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict between these Wallet Terms and the Cardholder Agreement, the Cardholder Agreement will control.

1. Definitions

  • Card” or “Zed Card” means an eligible credit or debit card issued by Zed.
  • Wallet” means a digital wallet or mobile wallet service that stores your Card credentials (such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another provider).
  • Wallet Provider” means the company offering the Wallet service (e.g., Apple, Google, or another third party).
  • You” or “Your” means the person who holds the Zed Card account.
  • We,” “Us,” or “Zed” means Zed Financial PH, Inc., the issuer of the Zed Card.

2. Relationship to Other Agreements

Your use of the Card in a Wallet remains subject to the Zed Cardholder Agreement and all related disclosures, including fees, interest, billing, and dispute rights. These Wallet Terms do not replace or change the Cardholder Agreement. You are also subject to the User Agreement governing use of Zed’s digital services, and the Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and share your information. The Wallet Provider may have its own terms and conditions that govern your use of the Wallet, and Zed is not responsible for those terms or for the Wallet Provider’s services.

3. Eligibility & Enrollment

Not all Zed Cards are eligible for use in Wallets, and eligibility is determined by Zed in its discretion. To add your Card to a Wallet, you must follow the Wallet Provider’s enrollment process, including any verification steps required by Zed. We may decline or remove your Card from a Wallet at any time, including if your account is not in good standing, if your Card is canceled, or if fraud or security risks are suspected.

4. Using Your Zed Card in a Wallet

Once provisioned, you may use your Zed Card through the Wallet to make purchases wherever the Wallet is accepted. Not all merchants that accept the physical Zed Card will accept the Wallet. Transactions made through the Wallet are considered “Purchases” under the Cardholder Agreement and will appear on your billing statement. The Wallet may not show all transaction details, such as post-authorization adjustments, reversals, or foreign exchange rates. Your Zed Card statement remains the official record.

5. Fees & Charges

Zed does not charge you an additional fee to use your Card in a Wallet. All existing fees and charges under your Cardholder Agreement continue to apply. Your Wallet Provider or wireless carrier may charge fees, such as for data usage, and you are solely responsible for those charges.

6. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the physical and digital security of your device and Wallet access credentials, including PINs, passcodes, and biometric identifiers. If your device is lost, stolen, or compromised, or if you suspect unauthorized use of your Zed Card in a Wallet, you must promptly lock your Zed Card using the Zed App, notify Zed using the contact information below, remove or suspend your Zed Card from the Wallet, and notify your Wallet Provider. You are responsible for any transactions made with your Card in a Wallet except as provided under applicable law and the Cardholder Agreement’s protections for unauthorized transactions.

7. Privacy & Data Sharing

When you add a Card to a Wallet, Zed may exchange information about you and your Card with the Wallet Provider, payment networks, and tokenization service providers. This may include your name, card details, email, phone number, device information, and transaction data. Zed’s Privacy Policy governs how we collect and use this data. Zed is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of Wallet Providers or other third parties, and you should review their privacy policies for details.

8. Limitation of Liability

Zed is not responsible for the Wallet or for the Wallet Provider’s services, including their functionality, availability, security, or performance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zed disclaims all warranties relating to the Wallet and is not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use or inability to use the Wallet. Zed’s liability for unauthorized transactions made through a Wallet is governed by the Cardholder Agreement and applicable law.

9. Suspension & Termination

You may remove your Zed Card from a Wallet at any time. Zed may suspend or terminate your use of the Card in a Wallet at any time, with or without notice, including if required by law, for fraud prevention, or if your Card account is closed. Termination of Wallet use does not affect your obligations under the Cardholder Agreement for transactions already processed.

10. Governing Law & Disputes

These Wallet Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions of the Zed Cardholder Agreement.

11. Amendments

Zed may amend these Wallet Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email, app notification, or posting on our website. Your continued use of your Zed Card in a Wallet after notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
